Privacy policy
This website is built to collect as little about you as possible. There are no accounts, no forms, no newsletter and no advertising trackers. This page explains what little remains.
01 — Information we collect
If you email us at the address below, we receive your email address, anything you choose to include in your message, and our reply history with you. That is the only personal information you can actively give this site — there is nothing here to sign up for.
Like almost every website, the server that delivers these pages may keep standard technical logs — such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested — for security and reliability. These logs are managed by our hosting provider and are not used to identify or profile individual visitors.
02 — How information is used
Email correspondence is used for one purpose: reading and responding to your message. Technical logs are used only to keep the site running securely.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
03 — Cookies & analytics
This site currently sets no cookies and runs no third-party analytics or tracking scripts. Fonts and images are served from this website itself, so viewing a page does not send requests to advertising or analytics networks.
The pages include a small amount of code that notes basic interactions (such as a button click) inside your browser while the page is open. This information is not transmitted anywhere, is not stored, and disappears when you leave the page. If we introduce an analytics service in the future, we will update this policy first.
04 — Third-party links & services
This site links out to third-party services — including eToro, BullAware, Amazon, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn and X. Once you follow a link to another service, that service's own privacy policy applies, not this one.
Some “Join eToro” links are referral links, as described in our Affiliate Disclosure. If you use one, eToro's systems may attribute your signup to this site — that attribution happens on eToro's platform under eToro's privacy policy, not through any tracking on this website.
05 — Data storage & security
Because this site collects so little, there is little to store: email correspondence sits in our email service, and technical logs sit with our hosting provider. We take reasonable steps to keep what we hold secure, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
06 — Your privacy rights
The Freedom Investor is operated from Australia, and we aim to handle personal information in a way that is consistent with Australian privacy principles. If you would like to know what personal information we hold about you, or want it corrected or deleted, email us and we will respond. If you are visiting from outside Australia, the same applies — write to us and we'll sort it out.
07 — Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the website, the services it uses or legal requirements change. The current version will always live at this address, with the date below.
